## Updates from Alchemy
### 2026-05-24 15:37 UTC: investigating
We are aware that block production on Citrea Mainnet has stalled and are actively investigating the root cause. Transactions are not being processed at this time. Last block produced: 7767200 (https://explorer.mainnet.citrea.xyz/block/7767200)

### 2026-05-24 15:42 UTC: resolved
Block production on Citrea Mainnet has resumed and the network is operating normally. Transactions are being processed as expected.
The root cause was a scheduled infrastructure scaling maintenance performed by the Citrea team from 17:00 to 17:31 UTC, which caused a brief sequencer interruption and halted block production - see all details in Citrea status page here: https://status.citrea.xyz/cmpji6ntw0ariqkpno7u1edxt
