This has now been resolved. Write up below:
On November 2, 2026, from 18:55 to 19:22 UTC, Autumn’s balance processing service was partially degraded, affecting about 1.2% of API requests. Most of these were served in a fallback mode where balance checks allowed access instead of blocking it, so balance and usage data may have been briefly out of date. The cause was a malformed balance record that our balance service couldn’t process, which stalled balance processing for a subset of customers; we shipped a fix so the service handles these records safely, and everything has been working normally since 19:22 UTC.
