On 13 October, between 05:10 UTC and 05:45 UTC, we experienced elevated error rates for VDC, RDC, Sauce Connect, and IPSec services in the US-West-1 data center. The issue has been resolved. All services are now fully operational.

### **Dates:** Tuesday, October 13th 2026, 05:10 UTC - 05:46 UTC. ### **What happened:** VDC and RDC services experienced degradation, resulting in test provisioning failures and timeouts. Sauce Connect and IPsec tunnels became unavailable. Service degradation was limited to the US-West-1 data center. ### **Why it happened:** An emergency maintenance activity by a third-party provider disrupted connectivity between our US-West-1 data center and GCP. ### **How we fixed it:** After network connectivity was restored, we verified the recovery of affected services. ### **What we are doing to prevent it from happening again:** Further strengthen our network redundancy to reduce the risk of third-party provider failures affecting connectivity.Improve service allocation logic to increase recovery rates following network disruptions.
